Ben Maxted ACA

Chief Executive Officer

Ben joined the Group in 2011 as Finance Director of the Automatic Retailing business, a role which he held for three years before his appointment as Managing Director of Eden Farm (following its acquisition by the Group in 2014). Since then, Ben has led the growth of the Frozen and Chilled division, successfully integrating four acquisitions into the Group. Ben is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales having trained at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he spent three years in its Corporate Finance division. He obtained a degree in Business Accounting and Finance at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Ben was appointed to the Kitwave Board as Chief Operating Officer in November 2021 and Chief Executive Officer in March 2024.

Mark Earl FCA

Chief Financial Officer

Mark joined the Group as FD of the Frozen and Chilled division in October 2015 before progressing to Group Financial Controller in October 2019 to support the successful IPO process. Mark is an FCA, having trained at PwC, and holds a BA in Business Accounting and Finance from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Since joining, he has been directly involved in key strategic developments across the Group, including acquisitions, integrations and capital structuring through raising equity and debt, in addition to managing key areas of Group finance, tax, risk, budgeting and forecasting. Mark was appointed to the Kitwave Board as CFO in March 2026 and now focuses on strategic initiatives and opportunities while retaining responsibility for Group finance and compliance.
